Schluter Systems now offers its Kerdi shower waterproofing membrane in a roll twice as wide as the standard size at six feet and seven inches wide.

Using this new size, shower installers can cover the entire wall area, from the shower floor to standard shower head height, with a single continuous piece of Kerdi membrane. This reduces or eliminates the number of seams in the membrane, and creates a more uniform surface for tile installation.

The wider Kerdi membrane roll is made of exactly the same material as the standard roll, and integrates with all Schluter Systems shower components. It is available in one length – 98 feet, five inches – for a total of 646 square feet of waterproofing membrane on each roll.

Standard width Kerdi membrane rolls measure three feet and three inches wide, and are available in 54, 75, 108, 215, and 323 sqaure foot lengths.
