Fireplace manufacturer and distributor European Home has expanded into electric with its new Electric Modern series of name-branded fireplaces, which encompasses the built-in E series and the hanging Compton series.

The Electric Modern uses a series of multi-colored LED lights, known as European Home’s EvoFlame technology, to emulate the look of a real flame. While this effect produces no heat or emissions and requires no venting, the fixture is available with an optional heating element. The E and Compton may be installed anywhere in a building, and are available in single-sided, corner, and bay (three-sided) linear styles.

“For years the technological evolution of fireplaces was stagnant and for good reason. Nothing can completely replace the feeling of a wood-burning fireplace. However, in recent years, through innovation and advances in technology, we are coming closer than ever,” says Holly Markham, president of European Home.

The E series ranges in length from the 32-inch E32 H square fireplace to the 72-inch E72 linear fireplace, and the Compton series ranges from 44 to 60 inches wide, including the surround. All fireplaces are available with log set media, and the Compton fireplaces also include a choice of black or white surrounds. The fireplace may be controlled through European Home’s E-Touch app, or via remote control.
