Sharp Corp. has decided to make its solar cells, modules, and systems available in North America. The Osaka, Japan, company, which claims to have "supplied solar energy systems to more than 50,000 Japanese residences," will sell them through Sharp Electronics Corp. of Huntington Beach, Calif., the company's U.S. sales and marketing subsidiary.
