The proposed merger between Leviton Manufacturing Co. and OnQ Technologies was terminated this past spring. The original plan was to create Leviton OnQ by integrating Leviton's structured wiring and home controls products with OnQ's line of structured wiring gear. The combined company would have controlled more than 50 percent of the structured wiring market. Few details of the negotiations were released, but Leviton did say it planned to create a focused business unit to market the Leviton Integrated Networks line of structured wiring products.
