According to the Tennessean, the real estate market in the Nashville area is still showing signs of life in unpredictable ways. Anne-Marie Tanner and her husband recently bought a house in Hendersonville, which is about 18 miles northeast of Nashville, that had only been on the market for a few hours. “We knew what we were looking for, and when we saw a home in Hendersonville we made an offer immediately. Since COVID-19, businesses are changing. But despite the limitations, this has been a seamless and stress-free purchase,” said Tanner.

The speedy sale was an example of the unpredictability of the real estate market during the coronavirus pandemic, said Berisa, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Lakeside. “You never know with the market,” he said. As buyers adapt to requirements for social distancing and sheltering in place, homes in good locations at desirable price points might sell almost instantly or may stay on the market longer than they ordinarily would.

The home has three bedrooms and two baths in 1,554 square feet of space. Features include a full walk-out basement being used as a shop and a large master bedroom with a 10-foot walk-in closet. The backyard was recently enclosed with a black aluminum fence.
