Walton Global

Real estate investment and land asset management company Walton Global closed the first phase of a 409-acre land sale in the city of Dallas in Paulding County, Georgia. D.R. Horton purchased the land as a six-phased strategy for the master plan community Edenwood in the Lost Creek subdivision.

“D.R. Horton previously purchased the developed lots in the Lost Creek subdivision,” says Anthony Sparrow, senior vice president of Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas at Walton Global. “We are excited to see D.R. Horton’s design, and we are looking forward to seeing this project progress into needed new homes for this submarket.”

D.R. Horton will begin the first phase with approximately 40 acres of land for 78 planned lots. The final five phases are expected to be executed over the next several years, according to Walton Global. When all six phases are complete, there will be anticipated combined total of 652 homes within the Edenwood master plan. The Lost Creek subdivision is located in close proximity to Cobb Parkway, Interstate 75, Dallas Highway, and U.S. Highway 278. Dallas is located less than 40 miles from downtown Atlanta.

“Located within the highly desirable Paulding County School District, we are excited for the continued relationship with Walton Global and the opportunity to build high-quality homes within the Lost Creek community,” says Tim Arnold, division president of D.R. Horton’s Atlanta West division.
