Taylor Morrison Homes Corp. (NYSE:TMHC) recently broke ground on its first 55-plus resort-lifestyle community in the Tampa area, Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch.

Taylor Morrison’s Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch will be Tampa’s newest Esplanade community with plans for approximately 868 single-family and detached villa homes with California Tuscan inspired architecture. This coming-soon resort-lifestyle community is centrally located in Wesley Chapel, minutes from shopping and dining at the Shops at Wiregrass and close to I-75.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held late last month to celebrate the new Wesley Chapel, Florida community. The event was attended by Taylor Morrison Tampa division’s leadership team as well as local dignitaries including Commissioner Mike Moore; Scott Sheridan, COO of Locust Branch; members of the Wiregrass Ranch Development team; and the Porter family who originally owned the land.
