Pardee Homes Inland Empire late Thursday announced the grand opening of Altis, a new 55+ community in Beaumont, California.

Altis marks Pardee Home’s entry into the 55+ market.

“A tremendous amount of research was conducted in advance of planning and designing Altis in order to ensure our designs and approaches to amenities were unique and reflected the fresh, younger Boomer buyer of today,” said Mike Taylor, division president of Pardee Homes Inland Empire. “Building a successful 55+ community meant embracing both the house and the community that buyers will experience every day. Our goal was to design a transformative community that acts as the launching pad for their adventurous, social and dynamic lifestyles. It’s gratifying to see the overwhelming and positive response after years of planning.”

Pardee Homes’ execution of Altis is based on a tailored approach set forth by parent company TRI Pointe Group, which rests upon four pillars – Vitality, Adventure, Connectivity and Style.

“Our research showed that thoughtfully designed, consumer-centric amenities are critical to the success of 55+ communities and Altis is a true representation of that,” said Taylor. “Our team has gone the extra mile to create a community carefully optimized for 55+ living today and I’m proud of the tireless effort they have put in to make Altis a success.”

Upon completion, Altis will be comprised of 704 homes with pricing from the low $300s through the mid $400s. Each of the four home collections at Altis — Vita, Avid, Mira and Elan — offers energy-efficient features and open, personalized floorplans. Ranging from 1,473 to 3,094 square feet, the single-story homes come with two to three bedrooms, 2-3.5 baths and two-bay garages. Additionally, the comprehensive LivingSmart® program seamlessly blends the design, development, construction and operation of these high-performing homes to provide healthier, more comfortable living environments with lower operating costs.

The homes at Altis are a complement to The VuePoint, the 16,000-square-foot residents’ club, which includes nearly 3,000 square feet of additional exterior covered patios that will serve as an extension of residents’ homes. Interior amenities include a great room juxtaposed around everything needed to enjoy impromptu gatherings or large community parties with a DIY bar, beverage machine and views of the mountains; billards lounge with liquor lockers; state-of-the-art Fitness Center, a Wellness Studio equipped for everything from massage therapy to integrative medicine; a Movement Studio with on-demand fitness classes; and flexible multi-purpose rooms with a wall of glass doors that fully open to expansive patios and an outdoor kitchen.

The pool area, includes a 2,100-square-foot lap pool with integrated therapy and accessible entry and a 4,300-square-foot resort-style pool with beach entry, solar integrated shade structure, and water features. It also has a lounge area from which to enjoy panoramic views. An elevated spa terrace that overlooks the pool area and a water feature tiled with iridescent glass provide the illusion that the spa spills into the play pool below.

The VuePoint will be the hub of social activity with an outdoor gathering and lounge area that features a kitchen, BBQ bars, islands with seating and sinks, a fire pit terrace, a 1,200-square-foot Butterfly Shade Structure with an integrated sound system, and a 12,000-square-foot event lawn looking toward the San Gorgonio Mountain Range. Other exterior amenities include four pickleball courts, a trail system and parks that are detailed and extravagantly programmed.

“The personalized comfort of home combines with the strong communal connections of this 55+ community to facilitate an inspiring, unmatched lifestyle for homeowners,” said Taylor. “Modern designs and innovative approaches to shared amenities are just the start. It is the connections made and experiences shared by those who will reside in this one-of-a-kind community that will ultimately define life at Altis.”
