The New Home Company (NEW HOME, NYSE: NWHM) on Firday announced the Grand Opening of its first two neighborhoods at the Brighton Landing community in Vacaville, California.

During this weekend’s celebration, NEW HOME will debut a total of six model homes within the Bristol and Oxford neighborhoods at Brighton Landing.

Located off I-80 in Solano County, approximately halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento, Vacaville has emerged as an alternative for home buyers looking for a suburban lifestyle with more space and attainably priced homes, while maintaining a close connection to the strong job market and culture of the Bay Area.

“Vacaville is located in one of the fastest growing areas in the nation, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the city’s celebrated Brighton Landing community,” said Kevin Carson, Northern California president for NEW HOME. “We recognize that there is a growing number of prospective buyers who are priced out of the Bay Area market and are searching elsewhere for attainable options. We encourage those looking for more space to grow their family to visit our distinctive homes at Bristol and Oxford.”

NEW HOME has plans to build more than 400 homes at Brighton Landing, where residents will enjoy several parks, playgrounds and schools within the community. There is also an abundance of outdoor recreational and retail amenities close by, including Vacaville’s Lagoon Valley Park, a 470-acre nature reserve.

For those who want to take a day fishing trip, Lake Berryessa and Grizzly Bay are less than an hour away. Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountains is just three hours east on I-80. Retail options include the Vacaville Premium Outlets, a recognized destination for local and international shoppers searching for high-end brands and bargains. Closer to home, those living at Brighton Landing will find a charming downtown with locally owned boutiques and bistros.
