KB Home (NYSE: KBH) on Tuesday announced the grand opening of Highmark, a collection of single-family luxury residences in the gated IronRidge master planned community. Situated in the Portola Hills area of Lake Forest in Orange County, Highmark at IronRidge offers large homesites with sweeping vistas.

Homeowners at KB Home’s Highmark at IronRidge will have access to an array of planned resort-style amenities, including a recreation center, community pools, playground and a sports park. Nearby Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park offers 17 miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails, and the California State University-run Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary features a science center and amphitheater. Parents at KB Home’s Highmark at IronRidge will have the opportunity to send their children to schools in the Saddleback Unified School District.

Located near California State Routes 241 and 133 and Interstates 5 and 405, KB Home’s Highmark at IronRidge offers easy travel and convenient commutes to surrounding employment centers and points of interest throughout Southern California.

The 83 KB homes planned at Highmark at IronRidge all include expansive great rooms, sleek gourmet kitchens with large island countertops, and spacious master bedroom suites, with the ability to tailor each design. The community’s three distinct floor plans range in size from 2,814 to 3,324 square feet, and can accommodate as many as six bedrooms and five bathrooms, including an en-suite bathroom for each secondary bedroom. Pricing begins in the low-$1 millions.

Home buyers who purchase a new KB home at Highmark at IronRidge will have the opportunity to personalize many aspects of their home as part of the builder’s unique home building experience. In addition to choosing their home’s community location, floor plan, and exterior design style, home buyers can adjust structural features to best suit their needs, such as converting the California room into a conservatory or adding a terrace off the master suite. Home buyers can then select from a wide range of flooring, cabinets, lighting, and other interior finishes and amenities with the help of a design professional at the KB Home Studio, a retail-like center.
