KB Home (NYSE: KBH) this weekend will host, the grand opening of Mason Pointe, its latest collection of new single-family homes in Fuquay-Varina, N.C.

At Mason Pointe, KB Home will construct 67 one- and two-story homes on half-acre and larger home sites and offer nine distinct floor plans. With up to six bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths and ranging in size from approximately 1,400 to 3,100 square feet, the KB homes at Mason Pointe also feature open floor plans, master suites and front porches. Pricing begins in the low-$200,000s.

Residents at Mason Pointe can enjoy the community’s tranquil setting and proximity to a variety of outdoor recreational activities at Raven Rock State Park, Fleming Loop Recreational Park and Fuquay-Varina Splash Pad. Additionally, homeowners will appreciate the nearby shopping, dining and entertainment options offered in downtown Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs.

KB Home will host a grand opening celebration at Mason Pointe on Saturday, March 9, noon–4 p.m., during which attendees may tour the two model homes and enjoy food and refreshments.

The KB homes at Mason Pointe will be built to current ENERGY STAR® certification guidelines and include WaterSense®labeled faucets and fixtures, meaning they are designed to be more energy and water efficient than most typical new and resale homes available in the area. These energy- and water-saving features are estimated to save home buyers between $744 and $1,188 a year in utility costs, depending on floor plan.
