KB Home Opens MPs in Inland Empire and Denver

California homes start in mid-$300,000s; homes in Colorado start in the low-$400,000s.

KB Home (NYSE: KBH) on Wednesday announced the grand opening of Salerno at Shadow Mountain, a new master-planned community in Menifee, in California’s Inland Empire.

The single-family home community offers a collection of attractively priced ranch-style homes with large home sites. The commuter friendly community is close to Interstate 215, Highway 74 and Metrolink, offering convenient access to downtown Riverside, Ontario International Airport and area employers, including Menifee Valley Medical Center, Brandman University and Mt. San Jacinto Community College.

“KB Home’s newest master-planned community, Salerno at Shadow Mountain, is situated in a great location offering easy access to major highways and short commutes to area employers,” said John Fenn, president of KB Home’s Inland Empire division. “This new community provides home shoppers a rare opportunity to purchase a new single-story home that they can personalize at a price that fits their budget.”

Salerno at Shadow Mountain is situated near shopping and dining at Menifee Town Center and Menifee Countryside Marketplace. The community’s four single-story floor plans offer up to four bedrooms and two baths, and range in size from approximately 1,550 to 2,200 square feet. These new KB homes feature desirable design characteristics like great rooms, storage space and designer kitchens. The new master-planned community will feature proposed amenities that include neighborhood parks, a children’s play area, a basketball court, soccer field and walking trails. Pricing begins in the mid $300,000s.

Separately, KB announced the grand opening of Stone Creek Ranch, an enclave of new homes nestled in the scenic rolling plains of southeast Denver. Located in the town of Parker, Stone Creek Ranch is a popular new master-planned community with proposed resort-style amenities.

“Our Stone Creek Ranch neighborhood is a picturesque reserve of personalized new homes, where home buyers can enjoy serene Front Range living at an attractive price,” said Randy Carpenter, president of KB Home’s Colorado division. “The master-planned community is expected to host several proposed amenities, including a clubhouse with entertainment space, fitness center and pool, all surrounded by the area’s natural beauty.”

Stone Creek Ranch is Parker’s newest master-planned community and just a short drive from Douglas County schools as well as shopping and dining. The proposed resort-style amenities include a clubhouse with entertainment space, a fitness center and pool. Additionally, the new homes are close to outdoor recreation, including Cherry Creek Trail and The Pinery Country Club. KB Home’s Stone Creek Ranch offers one- and two-story homes with up to seven bedrooms and four baths, and range from approximately 1,500 to 2,600 square feet. These new KB homes are situated on large home sites and feature desirable design characteristics like spacious great rooms, gourmet kitchens and expansive master suites. Pricing begins in the low $400,000s.
