If you have time for just one tourist activity in San Antonio, says public works director Tom Wendorf, remember the Alamo.

Houston-based Liberty Home Builders is planning 150 new homes in Converse, Texas, near San Antonio, by spring 2019. The San Antonio Business Journal reports:

The home builder said its first community, Rhine Valley in Schertz, has proven market demand, and the company will soon begin delivering homes at Knox Ridge, a 771-home master-planned community along Farm-to-Market Road 1516 in Converse.

“With the success we’ve seen in Rhine Valley and the continued growth projected for the entire San Antonio area, we’re extremely excited to announce this opportunity in Knox Ridge,” Damon Sachs, president of Liberty Home Builders, said in a statement. “Converse is growing as people are able to increase their home buying power while staying close to jobs, schools and Randolph Air Force Base.”

The Lexington will be the first model home completed at Knox Ridge and will be the first of seven floor plans. One- and two-story plans will range from 1,400-square-foot, four-bedroom, 2-bath homes to 2,700-square-foot, five-bedrom, 4.5-bath homes. Prices will start at about $220,000.
