Atlanta home builder Heatherland Homes has begun construction on the first five townhomes at its Marvelle community in Marietta, Georgia.
Marvelle features a crisp coastal-chic style and a combination of single-family and townhomes priced from the high $200,000s.
“Single-family homes at Marvelle are selling well,” said James Nash, president of Heatherland Homes. “Now with the addition of townhomes to this community, we have more to offer our buyers in terms of plans and pricing.”
The 99 single-family homes and townhomes of Marvelle range in size from 1,908 to 2,462 square feet. Newly built homes will feature high-end interior finishes such as hardwood flooring on the main level, tiled showers and baths, and designer kitchens with granite countertops. Marvelle will feature 24 townhomes at completion featuring two townhome plans – the Washington and the Preston. These two-story townhomes feature three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, two-car garages and are all electric.
Townhome plans offer rear-entry garages that open onto the main level where the kitchen, dining room and family room are poised to greet guests and family. The second floor includes a spacious owner’s suite with walk in closet, spacious master bath, upstairs laundry and two additional bedrooms with a shared hall bath. The Preston Plan offers a more spacious owner’s suite with separate his and hers closets, a soaking tub and a separate shower.
Marvelle’s relaxed atmosphere is enhanced by exteriors that feature the calming colors of many upscale beach communities, including pastels interspersed among the typical grays. Porches, rear-entry garages, landscaped front yards and sidewalks contribute to the community feel. A dog park and green space with fire pit promise to bring neighbors together.
Marvelle is located just over a mile from the restaurants, shops, theater and festivals in the Marietta Square and a short drive to Suntrust Park. Cobb County’s major work centers, including Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Lockheed-Martin and the Kennestone Hospital medical complex, are an easy drive from Marvelle. Peach Pass express lane commuters can take I-75’s Roswell Road exit for quick access. Marvelle’s students attend award-winning Marietta City Schools, including Sawyer Road Elementary, Marietta Sixth Grade Academy, Marietta Middle and Marietta High schools.
