Two schools have recently broken ground in the Santa Rita Ranch master plan in Liberty Hill, Texas, offering residents and the local community more options for their young students.
Divine Savior Academy broke ground May 18 on a 25,000-square-foot campus that will serve preschoolers ages 3 and 4 and elementary school students through fifth grade. In addition to classrooms, the building will feature a Design & Creativity Lab and an auditorium. The 13-acre site also will have a playground, parking and a future recreational field.
Liberty Hill Independent School District started construction of a new $27 million elementary school this spring. The 105,786-square-foot facility will house 800 Kindergarten through fifth-grade students as well as 60 teachers and administrative staff members. Collaborative learning spaces and an emphasis on wireless technology will define the new campus. The school will be located across from The Green Play Park in the South Village of Santa Rita Ranch.
Both schools are slated to open in 2020.
“This obviously is a huge convenience for residents of Santa Rita Ranch, but it benefits the greater community, as well,” said Ed Horne, Developer of Santa Rita Ranch. “Learn from the land is one of our Ranch Codes, and our rich history and natural resources will enhance school curriculums.”
Santa Rita Ranch is one of the top-selling master-planned communities in the Ronald Reagan Corridor and is currently the Master-Planned Community of the Year for the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin. Residents already enjoy approximately $8 million in on-site amenities, including a resort-style pool, a junior Olympic pool, a splash park, a fitness center, basketball courts, hike-and-bike trails and more.
Eleven builders offer homes priced from the $200,000s to the $700,000s in the 3,100-acre Santa Rita Ranch, which is located on Ronald Reagan Boulevard north of Highway 29 in Liberty Hill.
