A Canadian home builder is looking to bring moderate pricing to the Houston-are housing market. The Houston Chronicle reports:
Empire Communities has introduced a a line of homes designed for small lots in Balmoral, a 580-acre development of Land Tejas in Humble.
Balmoral represents the Canadian homebuilder's sixth community in the Houston market. Empire will offer six designs starting in the low $200,000s to be built on 40-foot wide lots. Sizes range from 1,500 square feet to 2,100 square feet.
A model home is scheduled to open in August before the grand opening of Balmoral's signature Crystal Clear Lagoon, the first in Texas.
"Our new series of homes boast stand-out elements such as an inviting front porch with a glass-panel door and large windows that bring in plenty of natural light into the home," James Miller, division president of Empire's Texas home building division said in an announcement.
