DeNova Homes has broken ground at Delaney Park, its master-planned community taking shape along the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta in Oakley, California.

DeNova Homes, which is the master developer of Delaney Park, also announced its builder partners and plans for the initial residential collections in the community. Joining DeNova Homes for the first communities will be D.R. Horton and Brookfield Residential.
At completion, Delaney Park will include up to 581 single-family residences centered around a lake that anchors community amenities including playgrounds, tot lots, bocce ball and basketball courts, barbecue pits and picnic areas aimed at attracting home buyers looking for a suburban lifestyle with more space and attainably priced homes.
“We set out to create a community that is ideal for the increasing number of home buyers who are priced out of most Bay Area markets but are searching for more affordable options with plenty of space, an abundance of lifestyle amenities and access to great public schools,” said Ann Marie Olson, VP of sales and marketing for DeNova Homes. “We expect to attract a variety of families who want to achieve the dream of home ownership while maintaining a close connection to the strong job markets and culture of San Francisco and Sacramento which is even more possible with the recent completion of the Antioch BART extension. We look forward to showcasing all that Delaney Park has to offer when we open early next year.”
The neighborhoods of Delaney Park will feature a wide range of architectural styles, from Traditional and Farmhouse to Prairie and Spanish with prices ranging from the high $400,000s to the high $600,000s. Single and two-story floor plans will incorporate open living concepts that encourage togetherness and flexibility with additional plan options for lofts and downstairs bedrooms.
The first community to open in early 2019 will be Northpoint by D.R. Horton, a collection of 198 residences designed by OAG Architects, ranging from 1,600 to 2,200 square feet with up to four bedrooms and three baths. Prices are expected to begin in the high $400,000s.
The next two communities anticipated to open in the summer of 2019 are Westerly by DeNova Homes and Southport by Brookfield Residential.
Westerly is a neighborhood of 103 single-family detached homes designed by OAG Architects, featuring 1,800 to 2,500 square feet with up to four bedrooms and up to three baths.
Southport will offer 104 single-family homes designed by Woodley Architectural Group, ranging from approximately 2,648 to 3,564 square feet with up to five bedrooms and four and one-half baths.
The final two offerings at Delaney Park, Middlefield by DeNova Homes and Easton by Brookfield Residential, are anticipated to open during the second half of 2019.
Residents of Delaney Park will enjoy an abundance of natural beauty and outdoor recreation in the heart of the Delta region. The community sits directly south of 1,166 acres of preserved wetlands that includes the city’s largest park, the Dutch Slough Community Park. Also close by is the Big Break Shoreline Nature Park and Marina which offers boating and kayaking for family fun and fishing. Miles of hiking and biking trails can be enjoyed near Delaney Park at Marsh Creek Park, Anza Regional Park or Mount Diablo.
