Century Communities (NYSE:CCS) is expanding its Central Texas regional presence with the addition of two new communities in the Austin market. Through land acquisitions in Leander and Georgetown, the home builder added 657 home sites to its offerings for metro Austin home buyers.
Crystal Springs: Century Communities is opening its newest community in Leander, delivering 411 homes in a mixture of traditional single-family homes, detached townhomes and pad cluster homes. Acquiring approximately 128 acres of land, Century Communities will dedicate about 45 acres as parkland within the community to support the city-constructed Lakewood Park.
The community will feature amenities promoting social interaction and outdoor living, including playfields, fire pits and greenspace interspersed throughout the community. Sitting to the south of the planned residences, the 73-acre Lakewood Park will provide extensive open space, featuring walkable and bikeable connections, motorless water recreation and playgrounds.
Saddlecreek: Century Communities will offer 246 home sites in Saddlecreek, a 353-acre master-planned community in Georgetown. The home builder will be featuring single-family homes on 45- and 50-foot lots. The community features a community center with a pool, weight room, kitchen, lounge, sundeck and grills, in addition to Frisbee golf and hiking and biking trails that feed into the Georgetown trail system.
“We are thrilled for our continued expansion in Austin, supporting the full company’s growth as one of the top home builders nationally,” said Stewart Parker, Texas regional president for Century Communities. “We’re proud to be able to provide options for Austin’s diverse home buyers, supporting the demand for high-quality housing in the market.”
