CalAtlantic Homes (NYSE:CAA) over the weekend opened Vivaz, a community of farmhouse-inspired designs that brings indoor-outdoor living to The NorthWalk at Escencia, in the heart of Southern California’s popular Rancho Mission Viejo.

“There is something very special about the community of Rancho Mission Viejo,” said Elliot Mann, Southern California Coastal Division president for CalAtlantic Homes. “CalAtlantic is thrilled to debut Vivaz which offers floor plans that appeal to a wide range of home shoppers from first-time homeowners and young families to move-down buyers looking for stylish and flexible first-floor living options.”

Homes at Vivaz range from 1,701 to 2,169 square feet, with two to four bedrooms plus dens, and two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half baths. Pricing begins in the low $700,000s.

These one- and two-story, single-family floor plans feature welcoming front porches and entry foyers and open concept designs that feature generous Great Rooms, large center-island kitchens and inviting California rooms that encourage indoor-outdoor living and entertaining. Residents will also enjoy a large owner’s suite with a spa-inspired bath. Select plans offer a first-floor owners suite or the option to add an extra bedroom, second owner’s suite or guest suite with kitchenette and bath.

These amenities are incorporated into farmhouse-style designs, with a selection of exterior styles that allow residents to further personalize their homes and embrace the warm and relaxing lifestyle of Southern California’s popular Rancho Mission Viejo community.

Vivaz sits within Escencia, Rancho Mission Viejo’s second village offering miles of scenic corridors for walking, hiking and biking, exceptional west-facing views and an extensive list of master-planned amenities including clubhouses with fitness centers, swimming pools and spas, outdoor barbeques and dining areas, and a large event lawn accommodating a robust community events calendar. Additional features will include two shopping districts, a sports park, nature park with interpretive center and racquet club.

Conveniently located in Rancho Mission Viejo, Vivaz sits just off of the Ortega Highway, close to south Orange County’s coastline, mountains and employment centers, and John Wayne Airport. Children living within Vivaz are eligible to attend Las Flores Elementary School, Las Flores Middle School and Tesoro High School, all part of the Capistrano Unified School District.
