The home where rock superstar Bruce Springsteen lived as a child has been sold, the Asbury Park Press reports.

Bruce Springsteen recently talked about growing up in Freehold on the Tony Awards broadcast of June 10.

One of the homes the Boss grew up in has been sold. The two-family home at 39 Institute St. in Freehold where the Springsteens lived from 1955 to 1962 was sold in May for $255,000, according to realtor.com.

The house, built in 1905 was listed for $269,900 in November. Property taxes were $5,745 in 2017.
