Brookfield Residential broke ground last week on the 1,130-acre Alamar master-planned community in Avondale, Ariz. The development will add up to 3,695 home sites in the West Valley across all its phases, along with a new elementary school and a 41-acre regional park co-developed with the city of Avondale.
The first phase is expected to open in late 2020, with 461 single-family home sites across five neighborhoods. Homes are expected to range from 1,400 to 4,500 square feet in size, with prices from the low $200,000s to the high $300,000s.
“Alamar will be a huge attraction as additional companies choose Avondale and the West Valley for their new corporate locations,” Avondale Mayor Kenneth Weise said in a press release.
“The vast array of housing choices and amenities will make Alamar a community of choice for new residents.”
