Hensley Homes is looking to buy the site of a former elementary school in the Cincinnati area, Cincinnati.com staffer Jeanne Houck reports.
The builder has offered just over $1 million for the property that the Milford Exempted Village School District owns and uses now for district administrative offices.
“The contract (between the school district and Hensley Homes for the Garfield Avenue property) has contingencies including zoning changes that the developer is seeking from the city of Milford,” [said district communications consultant Meg Krsacok].
John Hensley of the Hensley Custom Building Group in Loveland confirmed the company is in talks with Milford Exempted Village School District officials but declined further comment until the company has time to thoroughly investigate the possible sale and iron out some issues.
Houck reports that the city of Milford has not received a proposed site plan or other paperwork from Hensley Homes for the property.
