On June 26, Trumark Homes hosted nearly 500 potential home buyers at the grand opening of its model homes at Rancho Palma, a new gated single-family home community in the Verdemont Heights neighborhood in San Bernardino, California.

Rancho Palma will consist of 119 one- and two-story, single-family homes in two neighborhoods, each on lots ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 square feet in size, priced starting from the low $500,000s.

“Smaller starter homes [are] becoming more and more scarce – [and] first-time and repeat home buyers are facing competition in today’s high-demand, low-supply market,” said Richard Douglass, Southern California division president of Trumark Homes. “With moderately priced housing options becoming increasingly geared towards attached and detached condos, the ability to purchase a traditional home on a conventional lot at compelling prices represents a rare opportunity and that is what Rancho Palma represents. Rancho Palma should help alleviate some of this pressure by adding 119 homes to the market that are not only cost-effective for home buyers, but also sustainable. Unlike most SoCal homes within the $500,000 price range, Ranch Palma offers a long-term investment that home buyers can grow into in the years ahead.”

Rancho Palma’s Navarra neighborhood offers one- and two-story floor plans up to 2,506 square feet in size. The single-story plan features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the two-story plans include four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a loft space. Homes in the Rioja neighborhood are larger; the single-story plan offers four bedrooms and three bathrooms across 2,522 square feet, while the two-story plans range from 2,824 to 3,179 square feet with four to five bedrooms, three to four bathrooms, and a loft space. All feature Whirlpool appliances, granite countertops, Moen faucets and showerheads, and pre-wiring for smart home technology, including a conduit for electric vehicle charging.

The community is currently open for sales, and full buildout is anticipated by April 2023. Amenities include a bocce ball court, a private park, and gated RV and boat parking. The surrounding area offers parks, entertainment centers, and educational institutions, and a shopping center is under construction at the adjacent property.

Rancho Palma is one of four new Trumark Homes communities in Southern California. At least nine more new neighborhoods set to open in the next year.
