Redmond, Wash.-based GIS International Group has announced the start of pre-sales at Park 12, a new townhome community in Bellevue, Wash. The Park 12 property will contain 12 townhome units and a private, protected park designed around a portion of Kelsey Creek, a migratory stream for the area’s salmon population.

The preservation of the Kelsey Creek area is an important consideration in the project’s construction mitigation plan; the team is restoring a portion of Kelsey Creek, reestablishing native plantings, and creating desirable habitats for urban wildlife.

The three-story, three-bedroom homes range in size from 2,050 to nearly 2,200 square feet, and all feature ground-floor patios, two-car garages, and private rooftop decks, which are specifically designed to accommodate hot tubs, kitchens, and other outdoor amenities. Buyers can also choose to integrate smart-home technologies and other home upgrades before move-in.

Park 12’s location places it just minutes from many of the region’s major tech and medical employers, including Microsoft, T-Mobile, Google, Overlake Hospital and Group Health Medical Center. Amazon has also recently announced that it will be opening an office in Bellevue, and REI plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to the area. In addition, when the East Link Light Rail extension opens in 2023, the nearby Bel-Red/130th East Link station will provide Park 12 residents with public transport to Seattle, Redmond, and South Bellevue.

Pricing for Park 12 begins in the $800,000s, and the units will be ready for move-in next year.
