Houston
The Howard Hughes Corporation will host a grand opening event for Parkland Village, the newest neighborhood in the Bridgeland master-planned community outside Houston, this weekend on Saturday, March 24th, at the Parkland Village Model Home Park.
When the community is fully built out, it will encompass over 3,100 home sites on 1,200 acres, as well as 350 acres of parks, lakes, and trails. Home prices will range from the $200,000s to over $1 million. The model home park features more than 20 model homes from the community’s 15-plus builders, including Beazer Homes, Lennar, and Perry Homes.
Parkland Village’s first residents moved into the community last December, and the community’s recreation center and lakeside amenities are currently under construction.
Attendees at the grand opening event can visit the model home park, participate in outdoor activities like goat yoga, listen to live music and view the 140-acre Josey Lake as work nears completion. Amenities along the lake will include a kayak pavilion, main pavilion, event lawn and observational birding tower.
