California-based builder Landsea Homes has started construction on 75 new single-family homes at Riata at Alamar in Avondale, Ariz. The neighborhood offers one- and two-story floor plans ranging from 1,800 to 2,800 square feet in size, available in four architectural styles: Craftsman/bungalow, Spanish colonial, territorial ranch and traditional Southwest.

“We’re excited to begin work on Riata at Alamar. It is such a coveted piece of land in one of the fastest growing cities in the West Valley and we look forward to providing best-in-class, high performance homes and unique amenities for new residents,” says Todd Condon, vice president of sales and marketing for Landsea Homes.

The Alamar master-planned community is located southwest of Phoenix, and will contain a total of 461 homesites across six neighborhoods in its first phase. Community amenities will include a 30-acre regional park, 33 additional parks, and more than 10 miles of bike paths and hiking trails.

Sales at Riata at Alamar are expected to begin in September, with a grand opening scheduled for Oct. 10.
