Newport Beach, Calif.-based builder Landsea Homes has announced that it has acquired 50 home sites at the Deerlake Ranch master-planned community in Chatsworth, Calif. The upcoming Crestley at Deerlake Ranch community will be Landsea Homes’ first step into in Los Angeles County.
The community’s model homes are expected to open by the end of 2019, with the first homes expected to close in spring 2020. Its floor plans will range from 3,000 to 3,600 square feet in size, and all will incorporate high-performance energy-saving features.
“This exciting acquisition in Chatsworth allows us to enter into another strategically important market and build on the success of the highly desired and nearby community, The Westerly in Simi Valley,” said Tom Baine, president of Landsea Homes’ southern California division. “Our goal is to continue to create highly-desirable communities across the country and build high-performance homes that enhance the lives of people who live there.”
The Deerlake Community will consist of a total of six distinct neighborhoods connected by two large bridges. Crestley at Deerlake Ranch’s amenity package will include 4.3 miles of trails, a dog park, a clubhouse with a pool and spa, and panoramic views of the San Fernando Valley.
