KB Opens its 18th, 19th Communities of 2017

New, moderately priced homes planned near Denver and Houston.

KB Home on Friday said it was opening two more new-home communities, its 18th and 19th since the beginning of 2017, one in Houston and another in the Meadows master plan south of Denver.

The Villas at The Meadows, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, offers easy access to Interstate 25 and Santa Fe Drive for smooth commuting to major employment centers and throughout the greater Denver region. The Meadows master plan is located in the Town of Castle Rock twenty minutes south of Denver

KB plans to construct 152 paired homes at The Villas at The Meadows. Home buyers can choose from five different charming floor plans ranging in size from 1,443 to 1,883 square feet that can offer up to six bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths, spacious open floor plans, ample storage space, and flex spaces, including a finished basement option. Additionally, each home will have its own private yard. Many design aspects of the KB homes at The Villas at The Meadows can be personalized to best fit the home buyers’ individual tastes and budget at the KB Home Design Studio. Pricing starts in the mid-$300,000s.

Among the amenities at The Meadows is The Grange, a cultural arts center that hosts a variety of activities such as special events, club meetings, and cooking classes. Nearby Philip S. Miller Park features a field house and athletic field, pavilions, an indoor leisure and lap pool, splash pad, play equipment, and an outdoor amphitheater. Downtown Castle Rock offers boutique shopping and delectable eateries and hosts a farmer’s market every Saturday, July through October.

Further south, KB is opening of Westview Landing, its newest community in Houston. Westview Landing offers easy access to Highway 249, Interstate 45, and Beltway 8, providing a short commute to the Energy Corridor and several other major employment centers in the region.

Home buyers at Westview Landing can choose between ten different unique home plans that range from 1,454 to 2,961 square feet. Featuring up to five bedrooms, three baths, and desirable design selections such as spacious great rooms, flex spaces, and ample storage, the homes at Westview Landing will include access to planned community amenities, including a park and a playground. Pricing begins in the mid-$100,000s.

Residents at Westview Landing will enjoy its proximity to Willowbrook Mall, which offers a variety of shopping and dining options. Conveniently located near George Bush International Airport, Westview Landing is only three miles from Doss Park, a 33-acre public park with baseball fields, tennis courts, walking trails and a playground.

KB will host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, February 25th from noon to 3 p.m. at the KB Home sales office located at 11711 Newel Elm Street in Houston, Texas. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy food, refreshments and tour the two elegantly-appointed model homes.
