Houston Chronicle's Nancy Sarnoff reports that Colorado-based Century Communities will open a new residential development in Houston's Fulshear region.
Dubbed Polo Ranch, the development aims to target first-time buyers and will have homes priced from the $160,000s that range in size from 1,200 to 3,400 square feet.
Located near the Fulbrook and Weston Lakes communities, Polo Ranch will include a recreation center with a swimming pool, playgrounds and parks.
"Fulshear is undergoing an amazing transformation from a small town located near Houston to a thriving community within the region," Chris Chew, Century's Houston division president, said in the Tuesday announcement.
Century Communities is a national home builder based in Greenwood Village, Colo. The company recently purchased Wade Jurney Homes, which recently began selling affordable homes on the outskirts of Houston.
