After 14 years in development, the Tesoro Viejo master-plan in Fresno, Calif. hosted its grand opening on October 20th. The community’s first model homes are also open at Hillside Village, the first of its proposed nine villages.
The 1,600-acre master planned community is expected to have 400 acres of natural open space and parks once complete. A new school is already open nearby, and a fire station, and Sheriff’s substation have been built in the community’s town center.
The community’s first new homes are expected to be move-in ready by February 2019. Models are available now for the Altura collection by McCaffrey Homes, the community’s developer, which range from 1,581 to 2,205 square feet in size with prices starting in the low $300,000s. D.R. Horton and K. Hovnanian Homes have also been signed to build new homes in Tesoro Viejo.
