Bloomfield Homes Partners with Mesquite, Tex. to Build Up to 900 New Homes

North Texas builder Bloomfield Homes plans to build up to 900 new homes in Mesquite, Texas’s Hagan Hills and Ridge Ranch developments. Mesquite’s city council has approved an economic incentive for refunded sales taxes on building materials for the new communities, which could amount to over $300,000 over the next ten years.

"Bloomfield is having great success and has transformed the housing market in Mesquite," said city manager Cliff Keheley. "We have found many existing homeowners are moving to Hagan Hills as well as new residents being attracted to the location. We expect the same for Ridge Ranch."

The first phase of new homes has already sold out at Hagan Hills, and construction on the second phase is underway. Ridge Ranch is expected to hold its grand opening within the next few months. The new homes range in price from $260,000 to $400,000.
