This master bath addition is constructed on three sides with floor-to-ceiling glass block walls—a cool material, indeed, but not one that’s conducive to running plumbing mechanicals. As a solution, the designers at CG&S conjured up a floating wall in the middle of the room with a vanity on one side and a shower on the other. Set against a spare backdrop of clear glass and porcelain tile floor, the vanity commands attention with its symphony of rich wood grains, reedy green tiles, and terrazzo countertop.
