These Are The Tile and Ceramic Trends to Watch in 2019

1 MIN READ

At the 36th annual Cersaie, which concluded last week, more than 112,000 tile and ceramic enthusiasts descended on Bologna, Italy, to learn about emerging fabrication and digital printing technologies and survey a wide array of decorative options. This year the blue color, 3D-textured surfaces, and bold geometric and bohemian patterns dominated the showroom floor.

Below, ARCHITECT‘s Ayda Ayoubi highlights seven products from the show perfect for creating vibrant interior spaces.

Deorami by Ceramica Vogue

Designed by Turin, Italy–based architecture firm Marcante-Testa for Ceramica Vogue, the Dekorami collection of glazed porcelain tiles features a 3D surface in geometric patterns inspired by those from ancient Greece. The 10″-square tiles measure 0.39″ thick and are offered in three designs with a glossy (available in five colors) or a satin finish (available in three colors). ceramicavogue.com
