Farmhouse plans and barndominium styles rule the charts right now for pre-drawn house plans.

But if you want something with a little bit of vintage charm, take a look at this Victorian home design with modern details.

The first thing to notice: It fits a narrow lot. The plan measures just 24 feet wide and includes a front-facing garage. Brick and lots of details evoke Victorian design without feeling fussy.

Check out the bay window upstairs. That belongs to the main bedroom, which also enjoys exclusive access to the small deck.

Inside, the layout feels quite contemporary. The kitchen showcases an island, plenty of counter space, and openness to the great room.

A powder bath near the front adds convenience for guests.

Upstairs, that primary suite offers a spacious bedroom, a walk-in closet (with windows), and a private bathroom with two sinks and a large shower. Head down the hall, past the laundry closet, to arrive at two secondary bedrooms. These share a hall bath and easy access to linen storage.
