Small house plans can still give homeowners big outdoor spaces. Here’s a new 1,500-square-foot home design that does just that. See more views and details at Houseplans.

The exterior showcases curb appeal with a metal roof, soaring windows on the side, and generous porches. There’s no garage, but that might not be necessary if you’re building in an area with public transportation (or a shared parking lot).

Inside, the main living spaces share one large, open area. The kitchen’s island overlooks the dining and living areas. Step out back to enjoy the day on the rear porch, which stretches over 35 feet wide.

Over in the sleeping wing, the main suite includes a sleek private bathroom with two sinks and a walk-in closet. Each of the two secondary bedrooms also boasts a walk-in closet.
