ISLAND EYES: Spinnaker Island, a 103-unit project of attached townhouses and condominiums (left), features a land plan of well-massed buildings along a winding roadway and hilly parcel. An assortment of window shapes and sizes on every elevation no doubt aids the ability to capture views from every unit and drew comparisons among the judges to a European village, earning it the co-Project of the Year award in 1985.
