Fixer Upper designer Joanna Gaines has stayed busy since the end of her HGTV show. After welcoming her fifth child, she announced she has completed her first design book, Homebody: A Guide to Creating Spaces You Never Want to Leave. Publisher HarperCollins says the book will show readers “how to create a home that reflects the personalities and stories of people who live there.”
It’s meant to give aspiring decorators an in-depth look at how certain styles are created and how to blend the styles you like to put together a space that looks and feels distinctly yours.
She went on to explain her inspiration for the book. “I believe Home is the most important place on earth. And at the end of the day, it’s not really all about decorating or even a specific style… it’s about your story. My hope is that this book isn’t just pages filled with pretty pictures but that it is a guide that helps you create a home and space that you truly love.”
Homebody will be available later this fall.Read More
