Country Living's Taysha Murtaugh reports that Erin and Ben Napier, hosts of HGTV's "Home Town," welcomed their first baby, Helen, in January, and her on-trend nursery is finally complete.

The room features teal walls, antique botanical artwork, a chambray wingback chair, and gorgeous floral curtains. Helen's crib was made by her father, Ben:

But the showstopper is definitely the beautiful white oak crib, which woodworker and new dad Ben surprised Erin with in a recent Home Town episode. "Nothing but the best for my baby," he told HGTV. "It'll be something that, the longer we have it in the family, the better it'll be."

The story gets even sweeter. Apparently, the wood Ben used contained only one knot, which he considered filling with resin but ultimately decided to plug with a piece of heart pine salvaged during renovations on their house.

"I thought it was fitting since she's filled our hearts," Ben wrote. "Gives a new meaning to heart pine. This way, she will always have a piece of her first home."

Most importantly, at 29 inches tall and with 2-inch spaces between the slats, the bed complies with safety standards for babies.

"It's the most beautiful thing you've ever made," Erin said on the show, tearing up.
