HGTV has unveiled the newly built HGTV Dream Home 2023 in Morrison, Colorado. Built by Mountain Plain Homes, the three-bedroom, three-bathroom 4,360-square-foot home is nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Designed by architecture firm Western Design Group, the home is immersed in the outdoor lifestyle of Morrison with rugged, yet sophisticated finishes. The interiors, designed by Brian Patrick Flynn, include a classically modern kitchen with a pantry, wet bar, formal dining space, and sleek appliances. Its open floor plan, filled with natural light, leads into the living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and access to the outdoors.
"This year's HGTV Dream Home is designed around the natural splendor of Morrison, with outdoor space that truly feels like a secluded, spectacular oasis," says Flynn. "I love to honor the local culture with my design, and this year's home celebrates the adventure that Colorado is known for."
The home’s main bedroom features a deck, an en suite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a deck with views of the mountains. The two guest suites are dressed in unique color palettes complete with designated seating areas.
Amid Colorado’s natural beauty are various seating options and a full outdoor kitchen. A cozy firepit off a waterfall and natural stone bridge, and a private pergola in the middle of nature, lend additional retreats for the future homeowner. Designs by Sundown provided the landscape architecture.

Located 35 minutes outside of Denver, the home is near Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, Bear Creek Lake, and world-class hiking throughout Jackson County. The winner of the HGTV Dream Home 2023 sweepstakes will receive the fully furnished home, a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, and $100,000 from Ally, a package valued at over $2.7 million. The official sweepstakes entry period is 9 a.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, through 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023.
