Tri Pointe Homes has announced the start of LiveAbility, a new program centered around homeowners’ changing needs. By infusing comfort, greater ease, and style into homes, LiveAbility optimizes day-to-day living to create convenient and beautiful spaces.
The new program offers design, features, fixtures, and finishes that improve ease of use to make the home more livable. Comfort solutions can include an open floor plan design, spacious outdoor areas, and an abundance of natural light indoors to improve visibility and navigation.
“Many of us perform daily tasks that involve individual levels of effort and ability. As such, we developed the LiveAbility program to provide solutions that help make our customers’ home life more convenient. We focus on fixtures, features, and finishes that promote ease of use and make every room of the home more livable,” says Tom Mitchell, president and chief operating officer of Tri Pointe Homes.
LiveAbility’s curated options and features are ideal for multigenerational households, the home builder says. From nonslip tile and sit-down showers to lever-style doorknobs and motorized window coverings, the program is aimed at adding home features for safety, adaptability, and approachable beauty. Other options, which may vary by community, include microwaves in lower cabinets, hand-held showerheads, rocker or toggle switches, comfort-height toilets, and side-by-side door refrigerators.
“We’ve implemented new features like touch faucets that can be turned on (and off) easily with a tap, to building variable-height hanging closets to keep everyday items within reach. It’s all about helping ensure ease, comfort, and style for our homeowners—now and in the future,” Mitchell adds.
Tri Pointe’s LiveAbility initiative is also displayed in Altis, the home builder’s lifestyle brand for its 55+ age-qualified communities. The brand instills similar offerings and innovative designs optimized for aging individuals and includes personalized floor plans and customer-centric amenities.
“As a customer-driven company, we are constantly seeking to advance the performance of our new homes and the quality of our homeowners’ lives through the addition of new materials, technologies, and features. LiveAbility is our commitment to design and build homes that meet life’s changing needs,” says Tom Mitchell.
The new program also aligns with LivingSmart, Tri Pointe’s cost-saving, better living environment program, which provides customers with a more high-performing home. New features, technologies, and materials are consistently added to the LivingSmart program.
