Terracotta, known for its timeless appeal, has made a comeback as an interior design trend, House Beautiful magazine says. It notes that the material re-emerged as a popular choice for interior flooring, tiling, and other design features over the past year.

The color–specifically the burnt orange shade that terracotta is so famous for–has become a key design statement, extending to more than just floor tiles and plant pots.

'Terracotta is taking over this season with its rich, earthy red and brown tones that are easy to incorporate into wardrobes, makeup boxes and interior features,' says Pinterest.
