The clients behind this renovation wanted a master bath that felt clean, but not cold. Builder Stephen Jenkins and Moto Designshop responded with a sumptuous array of materials, using variations in size, color, and texture to delineate functional areas in an otherwise open space. Signature pieces include a custom rosewood vanity with mitered quartz tops, a teak bench inlaid with rosewood, and a striking teak shower pan bordered with stainless steel. Edges and corners are impeccably aligned, and flush surfaces are free of extraneous hardware to prevent visual clutter.

The rectilinear elements—in the mirrors, tiles, sconces, and faucets—create a lovely contrast to the softer sculptural elements such as a shell tub and porcelain sinks.
