A new, maintenance-free community near Richmond, Va., will offer attached cottages and villas as well as single-family homes for active adults ages 55 and over.

Greenwich Walk in Moseley, Va., will encompass 450 clustered homes surrounded by lighted walkways and parks designed to create an environment that encourages neighborhood interaction. Central to the community will be the Greenwich Club, offering a resort-style hospitality atmosphere for wine tastings, gourmet food events, music gigs and neighborhood festivities on the 25,000-square-foot events lawn or boating, paddle boarding and fishing in Greenwich Pond. The club will also feature a lap heated pool and hot tub, fitness and yoga center, lighted tennis courts and a boardwalk along Greenwich Pond.

Blacksburg, Va.-based HHHunt Homes and Richmond, Va.-based Stylecraft Homes have signed on as builders for the 85-acre community being developed by TerraForge Communities Inc. in the FoxCreek community. Groundbreaking was held in late April. Offerings will include:

--1,200- to 1,330-square-foot townhomes priced from the mid $200’s.

--1,600- to 2,500-square-foot cottages priced from the low $300’s.

--1,940- to 2,200-square-foot villa homes priced from the low $300’s.
