Something didn't look right in Wesley Chapel, Florida. So the neighbors complained. Now the builder is reducing the footprint of a home that was just too close for comfort--and code. WFLA reports:

Builder Avex Homes has started work to cut off four feet from an existing new home it built. The foundation has been cut on the inside of the home and back patio.

The homebuilder is trying to fix an embarrassing blunder in Pasco County's Avalon Park West in Wesley Chapel.

The house is less than 6 feet from the neighbor's home.

No one with the builder or the county realized there was a problem until the next door neighbors brought it to their attention. Seth and Rachel Vermillion said they were told the house just "seemed too close," but was fine.
