According to the Dallas Morning News, developers Hillwood Multifamily are kicking off the next phase of the $1.5 billion Frisco Station project by filing building permits for a $43.5 million apartment community. Frisco Station is a 240-acre mixed-use development that includes office, hotel and apartment buildings.
The new rental community on Gridiron Road will be called The Cadence at Frisco Station. Hillwood has already opened its first, 300-unit apartment development in the project called Station House.
The overall project will have more than 4 million square feet of office space, 2,400 apartments, shops, restaurants and civic facilities. A large greenbelt and park will cut through the middle of the community. In October Frisco Station broke ground on its second office project in the development, which is scheduled to open late this year.
