Sweet Grass Kirei USA, a manufacturer of low-VOC panels fashioned from rapidly renewable or reclaimed agricultural fibers, has announced two new product offerings.

The Kirei Bamboo line is now available in a rich brown color dubbed Chocolate (shown). According to Kirei, its proprietary deep carbonization process colors the bamboo uniformly throughout the material, allowing it to be cut, sanded, and finished without any color loss.

Reclaimed coconut shells distinguish Kirei Coco, a collection of low-VOC tiles and panels measuring 12 inches square and 48 inches square, respectively. The Class C fire-rated product comes in multiple patterns and color combinations.

Wall Flower The ELT Easy Green Living Wall System simplifies the installation and maintenance of plant walls for homeowners lacking green thumbs. The system is comprised of modular panels, which mount to the wall with simple brackets. The panels themselves can ship pre-grown—with plant choices ranging from vegetables to long-living perennials—and are constructed to control the flow of water through each cell, for even saturation.

The high-density polyethylene panels are 100 percent recyclable at the end of their life cycle and are backed by a 15-year warranty. ELT claims most plants will “establish within a few weeks to cover the entire panel, for a completely green wall.”
