According to The Enquirer, the second phase of the $18 million Echelon Luxury Apartments have been approved by trustees for Union Township which is just east of Cincinnati. PLK Eastgate Partners of Sycamore Township the developer of the project, opened Phase 1 which includes 187 one- and two-bedroom apartments, last year. The second phase will include 168 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Union Township Trustee John McGraw says the second phase of the Echelon Luxury Apartments is an $18 million investment. They will be built in seven, three-story buildings of 24 units each.A clubhouse and pool also are planned for the 6.5-acre site.
The development will allow for the future realignment of Aicholtz Road and have sidewalks that eventually will lead to the Jungle Jim’s International Market shopping area in Eastgate, Union Township Trustee John McGraw said.
“We continue to hit the ball out of the park as firms invest millions of dollars in our community,” McGraw said.“This project will attract young professionals as well as empty-nest homeowners who are looking to downsize but still want high-quality housing.
