Trumark Homes has taken the first steps expanding its Washington division and establishing its brand in the region following its March acquisition of JK Monarch. The builder purchased an 18-acre parcel in Poulsbo, Washington, and announced plans to transition 10 actively selling communities across the state to the Trumark Homes brand name.

Trumark Homes’ acquisition of land for the Sandstone Ridge community will feature 87 single-family homes with plans ranging from 2,542 square feet to 3,087 square feet.

“The vision since day one was for Trumark Homes to be a top five home builder in the Pacific Northwest, and the announcement of Sandstone Ridge is an important step towards that goal,” said Corey Watson, Washington division president at Trumark Homes. “With enhanced capital and operational resources behind us, we can scale up and quickly pursue growth opportunities. We are well-positioned for an active Q4 2026 and beyond.”

Project development at Sandstone Ridge is underway, with a grand opening and sales launch anticipated in spring 2027. Trumark Homes said pricing and specific home details will be announced closer to the launch date.

“Another key element of our commitment to this market is the thoughtful growth of our team, to ensure we are delivering on the home building excellence and exceptional home buyer experience for which Trumark Homes is known,” Watson said.

As part of its growth plans in the Pacific Northwest, Trumark Homes also rebranded 10 JK Monarch communities to the Trumark Homes name. In addition to transitioning the names of the communities, the switch moves the communities onto LiveTru, Trumark Homes’ custom app designed to give buyers a centralized hub for every stage of the building process.

“The greater Seattle market has been a target for expansion since we entered the market in Q1, and with the experience of this team and the investment of financial and operational resources we are beginning to execute on our strategic land plan,” said Steve Kalmbach, chief operating officer.

Trumark Homes has also developed a Washington landing page for buyers to explore communities in the Puget Sound and Tri-Cities area. Seattle represents the fifth division for Daiwa House-partnered Trumark Homes, joining divisions in northern, central, and southern California, and Colorado. The company ranked No. 66 on the 2026 Builder 100 list with 991 closings in 2025.
