DRB Group is planning to launch two mortgage joint ventures in January 2027 to strengthen and expand the company’s customer offering across its national footprint. DRB Mortgage, in partnership with Acrisure Mortgage, will operate in the east and DRB Home Loans, in partnership with Alta Home Lending, will operate in the west.

The initiative reflects president and CEO Ronny Salameh’s vision to pair DRB’s brands, DRB Homes and DRB Elevate 55+, with a mortgage experience built around transparency, execution, and customer care. The joint ventures will help ensure buyers have access to a streamlined financing process as DRB Group continues on its growth path.

The company has appointed Matthew Wolf, senior vice president of financial services for DRB Group, to develop a mortgage strategy that will deliver the strongest possible customer experience. Wolf led a comprehensive search to identify partners with proven operational strength, local market knowledge, and a shared commitment to serving buyers.

“Our goal is simple: to combine the strength of DRB’s home building platform with mortgage partners that understand our customers, our markets, and the importance of consistent execution,” said Salameh. “These joint ventures are an important step in delivering a more integrated, customer-focused home buying experience.”

The new joint ventures are also expected to create day-to-day alignment between the sales consultants and mortgage loan officers. By creating more synergy at the earliest stages of the buyer journey, the two teams will be better positioned to educate customers, identify financing solutions, remove friction, and support higher conversion.

“We approached this search with a clear mandate: select partners who could help our operations provide a best-in-class mortgage experience, and we look forward to a successful launch in January 2027.”

DRB Group, a subsidiary of Japanese company Sumitomo Forestry, is the No. 15 company on the 2026 Builder 100 list. The company generated 6,960 closings in 2025. In addition to DRB Group, Sumitomo Forestry’s U.S. portfolio includes Tri Pointe Homes (No. 19 on the Builder 100), Bloomfield Homes (No. 41), Edge Homes (No. 52), and MainVue Homes (No. 148).
