American Southern Homes—No. 123 on Builder’s 2023 Next 100 list—has unified its four builder brands under Evermore Homes. To set the stage for continued growth and to simplify sales, marketing, and additional processes, the strategic rebranding is expected to be finalized in fall of this year.

Previously under the brands of Grayhawk Homes, Evermore Homes, Stoneridge Homes, and Dorn Homes, the new unified name will encompass over 3,900 homesites in 46 communities across Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, and Tennessee. Established in 2017, American Southern Homes was recognized on the 2022 Builder 100 list at No. 92 after the acquisition of several regional brands in the Southeast and Southwest.

"Our strategy has always been centered around acquiring builders known for the highest quality of craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. However, managing processes and experiences across multiple builder brands can be operationally complex," says Lee Darnold, CEO of Evermore Homes.

"Today's milestone demonstrates our commitment to simplifying the home shopping process for our customers and maximizing the style and livability of the homes they'll live in for years to come. We are incredibly excited about this development."

Evermore Homes also has plans to introduce fresh home designs in its existing communities in Alabama, Georgia, and northern Arizona. The new designs—to be debuted later this year—will focus on livability and value.

Darnold adds, "For two years, our executive and field teams have been laying the groundwork of a unified platform that will allow Evermore Homes to expand quickly. This platform—which combines our builder's local expertise with greater access to capital and standardized national processes and management systems—uniquely positions us to scale quickly as we add new builders and new markets to our portfolio."
